connect a computer monitor to the netflix roku player?

I have a huge lcd computer screen I got for free from work. I don’t need it for my computer. I also just bought a netflix roku player to watch their online catalog of movies on my tv at home. This new monitor is bigger than my tv and thinner/more attractive. Can I somehow hook the player up the monitor? Thanks.
